EasyCookie · cookie banner

The cookie banner that follows the FADP, the GDPR and the FDPIC's guide

  • Consents kept in Switzerland
  • No IP address
  • Google Consent Mode v2
  • English, German, French, Italian

It scans the site, suggests how to ask, holds scripts back until the person chooses and keeps every choice in Zurich, without the IP address. Installed with one line.

Three ways of asking, chosen by the site

What is needed depends on what the site uses and whom it addresses. The scan suggests it; you decide.

  1. 1

    Inform, with refusal

The rule in Switzerland for cookies that are not necessary: inform and let people refuse them, at the first visit and after (Art. 45c TCA).

  2. 2

    Ask for consent

For sites that also address the EU: under the GDPR nothing that is not necessary starts before a yes, kind by kind.

  3. 3

    Explicit consent

For high risk, such as advertising that follows people across sites: a highlighted warning and boxes to tick, as the FDPIC's guide asks.

What it does

  • Scans the site as a first visitor and again every month, telling you when a new service appears.
  • Holds scripts, pixels, videos and maps back until the person allows them; external content loads in two clicks.
  • Refusing is as easy as accepting; an icon on every page lets people change or withdraw their choice.
  • Every choice has a code and stays 24 months in the register, which you can download; no IP address.
  • The cookie list for the cookie policy updates itself.
  • Bar at the bottom, box in the corner or window in the centre, in the site's colour, in four languages.

Price

CHF 9 a month or 90 a year per domain, VAT included. EasyLPD's Business plan includes one domain. Cancel any time.

Getting started

  1. You open a free account and add the domain.
  2. The scan finds cookies and services and suggests how to ask.
  3. You paste one line into the site's head and switch the banner on.

The banner is a tool: how to ask and the wording of the privacy notice remain the site owner's choice. References to the FDPIC's guide are guidance, not advice.
