Swiss data protection, inside your assistant

EasyLPD has a public MCP server: Claude, ChatGPT and the other assistants that support it answer questions on the FADP and the GDPR with the rules and texts of the platform, not from memory.

  • The score

From the answers, a score per law and the three actions to start from.

  • Transfers abroad

Whether a country is adequate under the FADP and the GDPR, and what is needed if not.

  • The duties of the FADP

The eight main duties for SMEs, with the articles of the FADP and the GDPR.

  • The document templates

EasyLPD's templates and what each is for, with a search.

An example

The tool's answer is the real one for this profile; the assistant's wording is an example.

We are a company in Lugano and also sell online to Italy. Which data protection laws do we have to comply with?

EasyLPD · which laws apply

Two laws:

the FADP, because you are based in Switzerland;

the GDPR, because you offer goods to people in the EU (Art. 3(2) GDPR), even without an establishment in Italy.

To see where you stand: free self-assessment on EasyLPD.

How to connect it

  1. Claude: Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector, then paste the address.
  2. ChatGPT: In the settings, under apps and connectors, create a connector with the address (developer mode is needed).
  3. Other assistants and programs: Le Chat, Cursor, VS Code and the others that speak MCP: add a remote MCP server with the same address.

Menus change with the assistants' versions: if you cannot find the entry, look for “connector” or “MCP” in the settings.

Your data

The server answers general questions only: the yes and no of the profile, the answers to the self-assessment, a country code. It neither asks for nor stores names, e-mail addresses or your customers' data.

What you write to the assistant stays between you and its provider: do not enter personal data of customers or employees there.

This is guidance, not advice: for your case there is Advisorn's consulting.

The assistant tells you where you stand. EasyLPD takes you all the way.
